Spring Book Haul

Hey guys,

I’ve been in a book purchasing mood. 😛

If you’re a reader fan than you’re probably saying to yourself: “I’m ALWAYS in a book purchasing mood. And I feel ya! But I just came across an Amazon Books store near me and it has definitely been the cause in my influx in book purchasing.

Let’s check them out together.

Gabaldon-Dragonfly-in-Amber-220x3321. Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon

As some of you may already know, I have a mini obsession with Outlander. The first novel enthralled me and the second of this series is being to be no different. Gabaldon combines history, fantasy, romance, and action in this captivating series. It just so happens that it’s also a STARZ television series that very closely follows the books thus far. If you love time-travel and everything Scottish this is the series for you. Pick up your copy today. 😉

2. Voyager by Diana GabaldonGabaldon-Voyager-220x332

Since I’ll be in Scotland this summer, I’ve been attempting to make my way through the Outlander series before I leave. I’m going to be hitting some of the major locations that are covered in this series, specifically the Battlefield of Culloden.

The Amazon Books store has become my new favorite spot. There’s a section in the store where the physical have “If you liked this….then you’ll like this….” !!! They actually had Outlander in this section and recommended for readers who love Outlander to read The Winter Sea. So, here we are. Another historical fiction novel that will fuel my love for Scottish history. 😉

Everything,_Everything4. Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon

I bought this book brand new for $6.01. WHAT! I was so excited. Thank you, Amazon. (Sorry, I realize my love for Amazon Books in this post is apparent.) Anyways, I’ve been hearing so much hype about this book that I needed to pick it up. I plan on reading it before the movie comes out. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s about a girl who has a disease that has forced her to stay inside her house to survive. But when a boy moves next door, all of that changes.

I came across this mystery novel at the Used Book Store Superstore. After her father’s death, Jo goes search for the truth behind the tragedy. It does seem like a dark read, but I’m excited to take a dive into it.

Sixofcrows6. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I’ve finally picked up a copy of this book! Wow, it took me long enough. First of all, can we admire the black pages?! I love it. This story follows a criminal who is offered a challenge for the reward of his life.

302267237. King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard

I’ve been waiting for this book! If you haven’t read Red Queen, you need to rush to the book store and pick up a copy… right this second. (Rush, don’t speed. 😛 ) King’s Cage is the third book the the Red Queen series, continue the battle between the Reds and Silvers. A world divided by the color of their blood.

There you have it! What books have you purchased recently? Let me know in the comments.

xoxo Samantha

    Great haul!😄
I loved Everything, Everything. I can’t wait to see the movie, I hope you enjoy it! I have also read the first two books in the Red Queen series, but they weren’t my favourites. I am not dying to pick up King’s Cage, but I’m sure it will happen someday.
