Hey guys,
I’m so excited that the fall-like weather is starting. I am definitely one of those people early to bring out the Halloween decorations and the fall candles. (I actually already watched Halloween Town this month. I have no shame.) Needless to say, my TBRs will be moving towards more fantasy picks after I finish wrapping up my summer reads.
1. Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson
I purchased this book shortly after I finished The Unexpected Everything. Morgan Matson has created perfect summer reads. I actually purchased two copies of this book for a summer giveaway two months ago. The book follows a girl Emily who’s summer has been turned completely upside when her friend Sloane disappears, only leaving Emily with a summer to-do list. On the to do list…. things Emily would NEVER do.
2. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover
One day her life is going great. She has the best boyfriend, an awesome best friend who also happens to be her roommate, and a great apartment. But that is all shattered the moment Sydney discovers her boyfriend has been cheating on her with her best friend. Now she’s struggling to move on.
3. Emerald Green by Kerstin Gier
This is the third and final novel in The Ruby Red trilogy. Gwen is in search of answers to the historic, secret riddle that has newly shaped her life. After discovering that she was cursed with the time-traveling gene, Gwen fights to find out who she can and cannot trust. This novel was original written in German, later translated to English.
4. A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
Back on my TBR for another month is this magical novel. I’ve only heard good things and definitely need to pick this book up during the month of September. It’s staring at me from my book shelf, calling “read me.”

I finished Since You’ve Been Gone and I did enjoy it. Maybe Someday is currently my favorite book I read this year.

Happy Reading! I hope you like Maybe Someday, I read it when it first came out and really enjoyed it. ADSOM is on my future TBR, I think this a great dark read for the Fall.
