Hey guys,
I love beginning a new month. It’s the perfect time to set goals for yourself! Since it is officially summer, my TBR is ENORMOUS. I want to read ALL the books, ALL OF THEM. I’m setting my reading goal of the month pretty high, considering the last two months I was only able to get through 3 books in each respective month. But hey, it’s okay to dream big.
1. The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan
I have yet to get this book started. This book was one of the many books in my TBR for the month June. However, it’s on the top of my list this month! I must get started. Like I stated before, this novel is the sequel to The Forest of Hands and Teeth.
2. This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
I am so excited for this book. It was released this month. It is an urban dystopian novel following character’s Kate and August. They live in a violent city, where monsters roam. They must choose between being good or bad in world that is against their odds. I literally cannot wait to get my hands on this book.
3. The Maze Runner by James Dashner
So, I’ve watch the first two movies in the Maze Runner series and now I just need to go back and read the books. The Maze Runner is about a boy named Thomas who forgets much of who he is. He is sent into a place known as the Glade, where other boys have been placed too. Surrounding the Glade is a maze, full of deadly creature. However, entering the maze is the only way out.
4. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
I know, I am so behind the times with this. I purchased this book month ago, but have not gotten the chance to start it. It’s also been on my TBR since the being of time. If you haven’t read my earlier posts, Red Queen is about a world that has divide by blood. The people with red blood are the common ones, they serve the elite sliver blooded. The elites all have powers and abilities, unlike the common red blooded. Until it is discovered that a common blooded girl has powers of her own.
5. The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
Yet another book that has been on my TBR forever. I’m so ashamed. I have been looking historical fiction. This book takes place during World War II. The devastating time when Nazi Germany was ceasing any land they could. The story follows a woman and her younger sister as they respond to the invasion of France.
I can’t wait to jump into reading all of these books and hopefully more? Yay, July! Let me know what you guys are planning to read this month or if you’ve read any of these books before.

Good luck with Maze Runner – I found the plot gripping but the narrative was so difficult to get into. I really hated the writing style, but if you find it annoying too, it’s still worth sticking at for the plot twists.
