A big thank you to the lovely Vivian@viviheartsbooks for tagging me!
Let’s get started with the Book Best Friend (BBF) tag questions!
Setting the Example: A pair/group of book BBFs that you love.
Book: Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
Character(s): Abby, America, and Finch
The trio of friends in this book is hilarious! Abby, America, and Finch are very supportive of each other. Yet, a little pushy. They had me laughing whenever they were together.
Childhood Besties: Which book characters would you like to grow up with?
Book: Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Character: Iko
Okay, guys… in all seriousness, how cool would it be to have an android as a friend? I would have loved to have grown up with a friend like Iko. She has a personality no one can resist! (Besides the wicked step-mother, of course.)
Frenemy: Which character would bring out your competitive side?
Book: Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier
Character: Charlotte
Charlotte just irks me. I’m not by any means a competitive person, but I KNOW this character would definitely bring it out in me. While reading, I found myself longing for moments where Gwen out smarts her. However, there are moments where I do find myself feeling bad for Charlotte.
Fashion Guru: Who would be the bestie whose closet you’d want to raid or you would want to go on a shopping spree with?
Book: Beneath the Glitter by Elle and Blair Fowler
Character: Ava London
Well, besides wanting to be able to shop with the authors of this novel, I’d settle for raiding these characters wardrobes. Beauty gurus! I guess if we are picking on though, I would go with Ava.
The Bad Influence: Which character would you want to commit a small act of rebellion with?
Book: Divergent by Veronica Roth
Character: Beatrice Prior aka Tris
Tris definitely has me wanting to commit some rebel acts, but in her circumstances. The girl is moderately fearless! Plus, she lets everyone know it’s okay to be different.
Blood Brothers: Which character would you want to be your surrogate big brother/sister? (You can pick both if you like)
Book: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Character: Katniss Everdeen
Um… hello?! KATNISS EVERDEEN. The ultimate sister, protector, and overall bad-ass. She is so selfless and fierce.
Mother hen: Which character would you want to be by your side when you’re having a bad day to cheer you up?
Book: The Perks of being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Character: Candace
This character probably surprised us all with the turn around! Candace definitely knows how to defuse a crisis.
The Counselor: Which character would you go to for a relationship advice or confide a secret to?
Book: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Character: Augustus Waters
Augustus seems to have a lot of prospective and insight. Plus, he’s always got some slamming quotes and metaphors to through out there.
More Then Friends: Who would be your book boyfriend/girlfriend? (If like both gender you can choose one of each, but only one choice)
Book: Slammed by Colleen Hoover
Character: Will Cooper
Will, Will, Will. Oh my gosh, I’m obsessed. Mature, caring, and super hot! I’m sold.
And there you have it! My BBF’s! I’m opening this tag up to anyone interested in completing it. Happy reading, folks.
