Yes, this is my very first blog post. I am both excited and anxiously nervous, over thinking the possibilities of this decision that I’ve made to become a blogger. Maybe this journey will not bring much light to these post, but at least I will still be heavily dedicated to my books. After all, that is why I am here! Books. Books. Books.

It took it upon myself to devote myself to more reading. Initially this was in the form of a New Years resolution, but the thought of solidifying it as such just seemed…unpleasant. New Years resolutions are historically meant to be broken. My devotion to books, on the other hand, was meant to enslave myself to a new way of life.

I set my GoodReads year challenge to 30 books. (12 of which I have already completed to date.) Yes, it is a low standard, but I do consider myself a busy person. And we all know how difficult it is to be a reader and a busy bee! Plus, I don’t like to fail.

Needless to say, I’m taking you on my journey. Let’s travel through time with Gideon and Gwen, uncover island mysteries with Jacob, and devour all the books we can!
